WOLF-DOG, A PERSONAL ACCOUNT, AND THE ROLE OF WOLVES IN
OREGON
Author of “Part Wild: One Woman’s Journey with a Creature Caught Between the
Worlds of Wolves and Dogs,” Ceiridwen Terrill will highlight her compelling
story of bringing up a wolf-dog and will lead a lively presentation about
wolves and dogs, illuminating the genetic, morphological, and behavioral
differences between them. Terrill will also delve into the ecological role
of wolves in Oregon and wolf-livestock conflict resolution techniques. Dr.
Terrill is an associate professor of science writing and environmental
journalism at Concordia University. At the Environmental Center, 16 NW
Kansas, Bend, 6:30 pm social gathering and snacks, 7:00 program.
